Congratulations!!! The Rounsaville family of DeRuyter is the proud “Dairy of Distinction” winner
this year in Madison County. They join 37 current winners in the county dating back to 1983 when the Northeast Dairy
Farm Beautification Program began. Madison County Courier Article

The Rounsaville Family is not the first
DeRuyter farm to win this award. The Coon Family farm on Route 13 won the Dairy of Distinction award in July of 1992.
Other Town of DeRuyter recipients of this award are the Gatehouse Farm (Barnes family) and the Steve Best farm. In order
to keep the award, farms must maintain the high standards set forth by the Northeast
Dairy Farm Beautification Program and are re-judged each year.
