DeRuyter Town Hall (Genevieve S. Staley
Civic Center) The late George Staley and his family generously funded the majority
of the renovation costs for the DeRuyter Town Hall and Library building in memory of wife and mother Genevieve. In tribute
of the wonderful gift that the Staley family has given to our community, the town board has approved the building to
be re-named in Genevieve's honor.
The Town Hall is located in the Village
of DeRuyter at the corner
of Utica Street (NYS Route
13) and Seminary Street. The Town Hall is currently FINISHING renovations. The Town Offices are now located on the 1st floor of the Town Hall. Town Court is
has also been moved back to the Town Hall and is held in the Court Room on the 1st Floor. The project is still in progress and not everything is complete yet. We appreciate
your patience as it is completed.

The Town Hall (Genevieve S. Staley Civic Center) is home of the Offices
of the Town Clerk/Collector, Assessor, Codes Enforcement Officer, Town Justices, and Town Supervisor. Town
Court is held in the Court Room and Town Board meetings, Town Planning, Zoning, and Grievance Boards hold their meetings in
the Conference Room located on the 1st floor. With the completion of renovations, the DeRuyter Free Library will
be housed in the Town Hall along with DeRuyter Community Services.
The
Madison County Sheriff's Department also has a satellite office here in the Town Hall.
